 |  A few seconds before totality you see an effect called "Baily's beads." Next is "Totality," where you see the corona-sun's outer atmosphere, surrounding the moon. Following Totality, is the "Diamond Ring" phase. This is where the light will start to intensify, creating the effect of a ring band with a shining diamond. This eclipse took my breath away, and I didn't want to lose capturing this moment the best I could.
